We are pleased to announce that the China State Construction and Taisei Joint Venture P103 Riviera MRT Station and Tunnel Project has been awarded two Environmental Sustainability Innovation Awards by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), further solidifying the P103 project’s leadership in environmental responsibility within the construction industry.

One of the awards recognizes our successful implementation of the battery-powered electric excavator. This groundbreaking machinery demonstrates our commitment to reducing carbon emissions and minimizing environmental impact. By transitioning from traditional diesel-powered excavators to electric-powered alternatives, we have reduced greenhouse gas emissions, significantly lowered operational noise, and improved air quality at the construction site. This initiative aligns with our long-term vision of integrating green technology into construction to promote sustainable development. 

In addition, the P103 project was honored with a second award for the development and implementation of an innovative active noise reduction device. The technology represents a significant advancement in controlling noise pollution within construction environments. By utilizing intelligent noise-canceling technology, the device actively reduces sound levels at the site, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding communities while maintaining construction progress. This project highlights our dual commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, striving to improve the quality of life for the neighboring communities.

These two innovations showcase the project team’s forward-thinking approach to addressing environmental challenges and our efforts to create safer and more sustainable working environments.
